Dear UWOSA Members,
UWOSA’s Executive has, pursuant to the UWOSA Constitution, declared a vacancy in the office of Secretary of the Association.
As per section 5.4 of the UWOSA Constitution, the Steward’s Council will appoint a member of the Association to serve out the remainder of the current term for the Secretary (to April 30, 2026).
Responsibilities of the Secretary are outlined in section 7.7 “Officers of the Association” of our Constitution.
If you would like to self-nominate for the role, please email a brief biography of your qualifications (maximum 200 words) to info@uwosa.ca by June 30, 2025 to be submitted for review to Stewards Council.
Applicants will be notified by the President with the date they are expected to attend a Stewards Council meeting to provide a brief (5 minute) presentation to Council members. After all presentations, a vote will be held by Steward Council members to determine the next Secretary.
