UWOSA invites all of our members to join UWOFA in a rally against the recent restructuring in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities which eliminated critical staff positions, undermining the high quality student experience Western promises, and straining faculty members as staff support has been significantly reduced.
Please join us in our fight today to send a clear message to Western. We call on Western to stop the staff cuts, and take immediate steps to rebuild trust by committing to a thoughtful reassessment of the needs of each unit, carried out in genuine consultation, and by ensuring that future decisions reflect the values and responsibilities of a publicly funded and fair institution.
