Call for Selection Committee Members

With the departure of our Business Manager, Mary Hay, and in accordance with bylaw 7.3, the UWOSA Executive Committee has called for the formation of a Selection Committee to assist with the hiring of a new business manager. Also in accordance with this bylaw, the selection committee will be comprised of one member of the Executive and three other members in good standing. On March 1, Heather Guizzetti, in her capacity as an Executive member, was nominated to be Chair of this committee. We are now seeking three other members who would be interested in participating with this process. Volunteers should be in good standing with the union, have interest or knowledge in best hiring practices, and have some flexibility to meet during the regular work week over the next few months. Please note that as a member of the committee, you would also be precluded from applying for the position when it is posted. If you are interested in participating in this committee, please email by Wednesday, March 23, 2016.
