If a family member is ill, you should take precautions against becoming ill yourself. Please see the answer to the question "How can I prevent becoming ill?". If you require time away from work to care for a family member, the usual leave provisions apply (see Article 26 of the Collective Agreement or call your Steward or the UWOSA office).
