Feel like getting away? As a UWOSA member, you are entitled to receive discounted rates for three of the trips offered by Take a Break Travel this year. The Membership and Social Committee has selected three different outings to sponsor, and are confident that you will find one of interest.

GREAT LAKES CROSSING (Auburn Hills, Michigan)

Brace yourself for 1.4 million square feet of retail stores, outlet stores, entertainment and a food court. There is a Burlington Coat Factory, Bed Bath & Beyond, Marshall’s, TJ Max, Nordroms & Saks outlets, a Rain Forest Cafe, Bass Pro Outdoor world and much more. A stop will also be made at a Meijers (grocery/department store), as well as a Target and Joanne Fabricsstore. Please note minimum of 24 hours in order to qualify for any type of personal exemption and that this tour is a nonstop trip. Must have a valid passport (visa if necessary). Out of Country Medical coverage is recommended. Tour Includes: Transportation, GST.

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING EXCURSION (Kitchener & St. Jacobs)

We begin our day at Christkindl Market at the Kitchener City Hall, transformed into a swirl of free entertainment, succulent foods and
exquisite crafts based on the traditional pre-Christmas markets of Germany. Inside City Hall - dazzling with sparkling lights and Christmas
decorations - vendors offer traditional German gifts, handcrafted ornaments, wooden toys, ceramics, gold and silver jewelry and Advent
wreaths. We then include a buffet lunch at Crossroads in Elmira prior to your opportunity to Christmas shop in downtown St. Jacobs. Tour Includes: Lunch, Ticket, Transportation, GST.
