In Memoriam - Kris Milne

UWOSA is sad to report that one of our members, Kris Milne passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at the age of 59.

Kris was born in Thunder Bay, May 7, 1951, and moved to London after high school and attended Fanshawe College. She worked in the Pathology department as a teaching aide technician for 36 years. During this time, she earned a bachelor's degree in 1993 and an honours degree in Visual Arts in 2001.

Kris enjoyed horse back riding and pottery making. Her small dog Ruby loved playing with Kris, especially fly ball. Carrying on will be her cherished son Nathan. Her devoted friend Mike will be seeing to the needs of her adored puppy Ruby. Barbie, Rob, Dave and Craille were with Kris every step of the way, and many other friends and co- workers, too many to list, are remembered today and always. Special thanks are extended from those who loved her to all her health care professionals, especially George, Becky, P.J. and Dr. Fleming. Kris is also survived by her sisters Judi and Lori, and Nathan's cousins in Thunder Bay. Arrangements are being made to donate, as per Kris's wish, one of her favorite paintings to Victoria Hospital.
